At the core of our vision is Real Ale and Really Great Food.
We chose Idle, Bradford as a key location for our inaugural ‘Beerhouse’ venue. Passion & expertise abounds with real ale, craft & cask, independent producers signature brews, sort after by the dedicated CAMRA devotees. We’ve made significant investment into the building, from cellars to kitchen, to bar & toilets, to sun terrace and the new outside lounge. Our aim was to retain great people, real hospitality & the neighbourhood vibe.
Gone is the dark interior with sectioned off restaurant area and drinking area. We’ve created an open plan space, airy & fresh bar, subtle burnt orange leather & light grey undertones, natural woods & steel fittings. A gorgeous anti room & sun terrace, with the newly conceived outdoor lounge down stairs, keeping guests warm & dry to the rear of the house.
We serve brunch, Friday-Sunday, cakes, pastries and house dishes, all scratch recipes, with honest fire pan cooking. Open coal grilled, ethereal foods that salivate the senses, perfect accompaniments to real ale from the kitchen Brigade.
Considered spirits, small batch Gins, artisan distillations from all corners of Great Britain, with the best global, of origin still houses playing a huge part in the Beerhouse experience.
wine’s are balanced with varietals, style & provenance, delivering outstanding value for money. A glass of something to suit every pallet.

If you are not 100% happy with your beer we will gladly exchange it. Please ask for a ‘taster’ to help you find a beer you like. ‘Beer’ covers a vast array of tastes and flavours and we are especially keen to encourage people to check out real ale who perhaps have not tried it before, especially women and younger people. So do not be shy, let the bar staff know and ask to be introduced to some tasters to find one you like.
