It was a very proud afternoon for Beerhouses family on Saturday. The Sportsman had a double awards ceremony where they received their certificate for being a Runner up in Yorkshire Pub of the year competition, and their award for being upgraded to Camra’s National Inventory of Historic Pun Interiors. John Fletcher, Manager of The Sportsman, Mike Field, Director of Beerhouses received the awards from Camra’s Deputy Regional Director Peter Goddard.
