The West Riding was celebrating again in August as Heavy Woollen CAMRA voted it Pub of the Year once again, following up last years win. It is just reward for the hard work that Carole, Lucy (cellar manager) and the team of super skilled staff put into picking, conditioning and serving the best there is to offer in UK cask ale. There is always great beer on at The West and as our reputation has been for 26 years throughout we’ve won quite a few awards for our beer. There will be a presentation night when this is allowed and we hope to see you there where a great pint will be guaranteed.
